Missy drives a tractor down the main street

Ah, France. Yesterday, with scant regard for laws or road rules, our mate Julian (purveyor of the world's best sausages and other pork products) let Missy drive his tractor around the little village of Mayrac. Curly went along for the ride.

Main street, Mayrac.

Possibly outrunning authorities - the town hall is 50m down the road.

Curly explains how to steer. Please note, for Occupational, Health and Safety purposes, the lack of shoes.

  1. isn't that just what makes france so french - scant regard for just about everything when it comes to health and safety. And anyway, if a tractor 's going to drive over your toes - they'll get just as crushed - shoes or not!

  2. Me too. No bike hats. Lots of smoking. Butter butter butter. But then strange blips on the safety scale, like the need to get a doctor to approve each and every child for each and every sport each and every year. Crazy Frenchies.
